Gmail

What it does

Connect a Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox and its email joins the shared inbox, next to your calls and texts. Each message is matched to the contact behind the address, so it lands on the same timeline as everything else that person has said to you.

• One history. Email sits beside the calls, texts and meetings on each contact’s timeline.
• Your address. Replies, reply-alls and forwards go out through the connected mailbox.
• Your mailbox stays put. The mail stays with Google; QuorumVoice adds a shared working view.

What you need

• A QuorumVoice plan with a free mailbox slot. Starter: 1 connected mailbox; Pro: 3 connected mailboxes; Portfolio: unlimited connected mailboxes.
• A Gmail or Google Workspace account you can sign in to. Your organization’s Google Workspace policies still apply.

Connect Gmail

1. Sign in to QuorumVoice and open Settings › Email.
2. Select Connect Gmail.
3. Sign in to Google, review the permissions, and allow them.
4. You return to QuorumVoice, where the mailbox shows as connected. Use Verify to check it at any time.

What it reads and keeps

QuorumVoice asks Google for the narrowest set of permissions it needs:

• Read your mail, to bring messages, threads and attachments into the shared inbox.
• Send mail, for the replies and forwards you send from QuorumVoice.
• Your email address, to know which Google account was connected.

It does not change, label, trash or draft mail in your mailbox.

QuorumVoice keeps the messages it captures in your organization’s private storage, where only your members can see them, within what their role allows. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Remove it

In Settings › Email, remove the mailbox. QuorumVoice disconnects it and deletes its saved credentials. Email already captured stays on the contact timelines; to capture new mail from that address again, connect it again.

You can also remove QuorumVoice from the third-party access page in your Google Account.
