Questions about team calling

Open a direct message or group thread and choose the Call control. Select voice to ring your teammates or video to start a huddle with the people in the thread.

Team voice calls ring the teammate’s registered app devices, including their browser and mobile app. The first device to answer takes the call. Availability depends on the device being connected and configured to receive calls.

Yes. Group voice calls can ring up to four other people. A video huddle invites the people in its thread. These calls stay attached to the team conversation they started from.

No. You can answer a video huddle with or without video and use the call’s microphone and camera controls.

No. Internal team voice and video calls are not recorded or transcribed. The call history keeps who called, when, the duration, whether it was voice or video, and the outcome.

Yes. The mobile app integrates with the native incoming-call interface for team voice calls and huddles. Device permissions, notification settings and network connectivity still apply.
