What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the site. QuorumVoice uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) to operate our platform, improve your experience, and analyze usage patterns.
The QuorumVoice mobile app does not use cookies — your session is kept in secure device storage managed by the operating system. See the Mobile Application section of our Privacy Policy for the app's data practices.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication: To verify your identity and keep you signed in across sessions.
- Security: To protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and other threats.
- Preferences: To remember your settings such as theme, timezone, and notification preferences.
- First-party analytics: To measure how visitors find and read our marketing site and blog. These analytics are cookieless and first-party: page views are recorded server-side using a one-way hash, and we never store your raw IP address.
- Analytics cookies (only with your consent): If you allow analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people. It does not load unless you accept, and we use no advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Analytics Cookies (Only With Your Consent)
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to measure which pages people visit and how they found us. Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Accept all” or turn on Analytics in Cookie settings; if you reject or ignore the banner, it never loads. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we keep Google's advertising features off. If you later withdraw consent, these cookies are deleted and Google Analytics stops loading.

First-Party Analytics (Cookieless)
Separately from Google Analytics, and whatever you choose in the banner, we measure our own pages without cookies. To understand how readers find our blog and marketing pages, we record page views server-side using a one-way cryptographic hash derived from your IP address and browser — the raw IP address itself is never stored and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you. Along with the page view we record the referring site, campaign parameters present in the link you clicked (e.g. utm tags), and a general device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet). A random session identifier kept in your browser's storage groups the pages you read during a single visit. None of this data is shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Session vs. Persistent Cookies
- Session cookies are temporary and deleted when you close your browser. They are used for things like CSRF protection and temporary authentication states.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period (or until you manually delete them). They are used for remembering your preferences and keeping you signed in across browser sessions.
Third-Party Services
QuorumVoice integrates with the following third-party services. These services may set their own cookies when you interact with our platform:
- Supabase (authentication and database) — sets authentication cookies to manage your session securely.
- Google Analytics (website analytics, only with your consent) — sets the analytics cookies listed above once you allow them, and processes usage data under Google's privacy policy.
- Sentry (error monitoring) — receives technical error reports so we can fix problems, and on the demo and sign-up pages may keep a masked session replay. Sentry sets no cookies; it uses the session storage key listed above.
- Vercel (hosting) — hosts the website and application. Vercel does not set analytics or tracking cookies on quorumvoice.com.
- Google & Microsoft (email sign-in) — if you connect a Gmail or Microsoft 365 account, the OAuth consent flow happens on Google's or Microsoft's own domains, where they may set their own cookies under their own policies. No Google or Microsoft cookies are set on quorumvoice.com.
- Stripe (billing and subscriptions) — when you interact with checkout or the customer portal, Stripe may set cookies on their domain to manage your billing session. No Stripe cookies are set on quorumvoice.com.
- Telnyx (phone and SMS) — Telnyx does not set any cookies on our site. All communication with Telnyx occurs server-side via API.
- Resend (transactional email) — Resend does not set any cookies on our site. All email sending occurs server-side via API.
How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Cookie consent banner: When you first visit our site, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer or the button below; withdrawing consent deletes the analytics cookies.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to QuorumVoice.
- Device settings: On mobile devices, you can manage cookie preferences through your device's browser settings.
