Microsoft Outlook

What it does

Connect a Outlook or Microsoft 365 mailbox and its email joins the shared inbox, next to your calls and texts. Each message is matched to the contact behind the address, so it lands on the same timeline as everything else that person has said to you.

• One history. Email sits beside the calls, texts and meetings on each contact’s timeline.
• Your address. Replies, reply-alls and forwards go out through the connected mailbox.
• Your mailbox stays put. The mail stays with Microsoft; QuorumVoice adds a shared working view.

What you need

• A QuorumVoice plan with a free mailbox slot. Starter: 1 connected mailbox; Pro: 3 connected mailboxes; Portfolio: unlimited connected mailboxes.
• A Outlook or Microsoft 365 account you can sign in to. Your organization’s Microsoft 365 policies still apply.

Connect Outlook

1. Sign in to QuorumVoice and open Settings › Email.
2. Select Connect Outlook.
3. Sign in to Microsoft, review the permissions, and allow them.
4. You return to QuorumVoice, where the mailbox shows as connected. Use Verify to check it at any time.

What it reads and keeps

QuorumVoice asks Microsoft for these permissions:

• Read and write mail, to bring messages and attachments into the shared inbox.
• Send mail, for the replies and forwards you send from QuorumVoice.
• Your profile and email address, and offline access, to know which account was connected and keep it connected.

QuorumVoice keeps the messages it captures in your organization’s private storage, where only your members can see them, within what their role allows. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Remove it

In Settings › Email, remove the mailbox. QuorumVoice disconnects it and deletes its saved credentials. Email already captured stays on the contact timelines; to capture new mail from that address again, connect it again.

You can also remove QuorumVoice from the apps page of your Microsoft account, or your Microsoft 365 admin can.
