QuorumVoice for Zoom
AvailableYour recorded Zoom meetings, with their transcripts and summaries, on each contact’s timeline.
What the app does
QuorumVoice keeps every call, text, email and meeting with a contact in one timeline. The Zoom app adds your Zoom meetings to it:
- Recorded meetings. When a meeting hosted by the connected Zoom user finishes recording to the cloud, QuorumVoice imports the recording and its transcript, writes a summary, and files the meeting on the timeline of each participant who matches one of your contacts.
- Meetings for appointments. When your team books an appointment with a Zoom location in QuorumVoice, the app creates the Zoom meeting, and it deletes that meeting if the appointment is cancelled.
What you need
- A QuorumVoice plan that includes meetings (Pro or Portfolio).
- An owner or admin role in your QuorumVoice organization. Connecting accounts is an Org admin setting.
- A Zoom account with cloud recording turned on. Meetings recorded only to a computer are not imported.
Connect Zoom
- Sign in to QuorumVoice and open Org admin › Meetings.
- Select Connect Zoom.
- Sign in to Zoom if asked, review the permissions, and select Allow.
- You return to QuorumVoice, where the Zoom account shows as connected.
From then on, new cloud recordings from the connected Zoom account are imported.
Use it
- Host a Zoom meeting from the connected account and record it to the cloud.
- When Zoom finishes processing the recording, QuorumVoice imports it. The meeting appears in the Inbox and on the timeline of each matched contact, with the recording, the transcript and a summary.
- If Zoom provides no transcript for a recording, QuorumVoice transcribes the audio itself, so a few minutes later the meeting still has a transcript and summary.
- To schedule a Zoom meeting, book an appointment in QuorumVoice and choose Zoom as the location. The meeting is made on your organization’s Zoom account, and its link goes into the invite.
What it reads and keeps
The app asks Zoom for these permissions, and uses each one only for the purpose shown:
- Your Zoom user profile, to know which Zoom account is connected.
- Cloud recordings (the recording list and the recording and transcript files), to import recorded meetings.
- Past meeting participants, to match attendees to your contacts.
- Create and delete meetings, only for appointments your team books with a Zoom location.
QuorumVoice stores the recordings, transcripts, summaries, meeting topic and times, and participant names and email addresses in your organization’s private storage. Only members of your organization can see them, within what their role allows. We don’t sell Zoom data or use it for advertising. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
Remove the app
You can remove the app in either place:
- In QuorumVoice: Org admin › Meetings, then Disconnect on the Zoom account.
- In Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage › Added Apps, and select Remove next to QuorumVoice.
Either way, QuorumVoice deletes the Zoom connection and its stored tokens, and imports no more meetings. Meetings already on your timelines stay as your organization’s records. To have them deleted, email privacy@quorumvoice.com.
